Cloud Seeding to Solve Global Warming
Summary
The phenomenon of global warming poses enormous challenges to the survival of human beings on planet Earth. Nations across the globe have come together to ensure the implementation of efforts to save the planet from further degradation. Prof. John Latham from the Univ. of Manchester and Prof. Steven Salter from the Univ. of Edinburgh have come up with the idea of cloud seeding in order to protect the planet. The idea is to increase the reflectivity of clouds to reflect solar radiations back into space. A fleet of wind-powered, radio controlled and unmanned yachts will be used for the purpose. The yachts will atomize the sea water and spray the fine sea water vapor into the clouds making them denser and more reflective. Hence, the clouds will reflect more sunlight back into space effectively bringing down the temperature of the earth.
