Dangers of Anabolic Steroids
Summary
Gregg Valentino used anabolic steroids to build world’s biggest biceps and entered Guinness book of world records. Competitive body builders consume 12000 calories a day and workout all day long – seven days a week. According to Steve Michalik (Mr. America 1972, Mr. Universe 1975) there is nothing like taking “a little bit” of steroids, they are absolutely addictive. Steve Michalik suffered massive heart attack, stroke, liver tumors, joint pains and mental disruption as side effects of using anabolic steroids. In England, Mick Hart has established himself as unofficial voice of steroid use. He produces a controversial pro-steroid magazine called “No Bull Magazine”. He got very famous for advising his son Chris Hart to use steroids in a controlled manner to gain incredible body. The short term medical problems associated with steroid use are relatively modest and that is one of the reasons people get tempted. Even small doses of steroids can create long term problems like hardening of arteries which lead to heart attacks and strokes. Even when addicts quit using steroids, they are still embedded in the body and cause long term damage. This should be a wake up call to all the people who are using or even considering using steroids or performance enhancing drugs.
