Summary
This video shows how emotions are created in brain and how brain links past memories to current experiences to trigger emotions. Each place where the neurons in the brain connect is integrated into a thought or a memory. The brain builds up all its concepts by the law of associated memory which refers to the ability to recall one fact by relating it to another fact which has been firmly fixed in the mind. For example ideas, thoughts and feelings are all constructed and interconnected in this neural net. They all have a possible relationship with one another. Physiologically nerve cells that fire together wire together, when something is practiced over and over again the associated nerve cells have long term relationship. Similarly neurons that stop firing together slowly lose their long term relationship. A part of the brain called Hypothalamus creates many chemicals known as peptides (small chain amino acid sequences) that in turn trigger various emotions.
